Daily / Pick up time 08:30 Hrs.
Days: Daily
Schedule: Pick up 08:30 am (To be reconfirmed at destination. Punctuality is required)
The tour begins with the first stop in Tlatelolco to visit The Plaza of the Three Cultures, one of the most significant places in Mexico City, as it reflects three important stages in the history of Mexico: pre-Hispanic, colonial, and contemporary. We then continue to the Basilica of Guadalupe, where you will see the original cloak of Juan Diego bearing the image of the Virgin of Guadalupe.
From here, we will head to the Archaeological Zone of Teotihuacán, whose name means “the place where men become gods,” to explore the Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon, the Palace of Quetzal-Butterfly, and the Temple of the Feathered Serpent “Quetzalcóatl,” as well as walk along the Avenue of the Dead.
In the afternoon, we will make a stop at a handicraft workshop to learn about the process of obtaining pulque (a pre-Hispanic drink), looms, obsidian work, and silver.
