Museo Soumaya Plaza Carso is located in the urban redevelopment area called Nuevo Polanco. It was inaugurated on March 29, 2011. The building features an avant-garde design consisting of a shiny, asymmetrical silver structure with smooth forms, reminiscent of Rodin’s sculptural work. It stands 151 Ft tall and is covered with over 16,000 hexagonal aluminum plates, with no visible openings other than the entrance. The museum has 6 exhibition floors.
Across the avenue is the Inbursa Aquarium, inspired by a stingray and consisting of 5 levels, 4 of which are underground, where visitors can admire over 5,000 specimens of 230 species. Return transfer to your hotel.
